Introduction to Rolangear’s Fully Automated Water Heater Manufacturing System

Rolangear’s fully automated water heater production line integrates three core systems: the assembly line, the aging and testing line, and the unmanned packaging line. This comprehensive setup allows for high-efficiency, fully automated operation across all stages of production. Among these, the aging test line is the most critical, serving as the primary quality control checkpoint. The production line operates through five major stages: assembly, transition, air cooling, burn-in testing, and final packaging.


Water Heater Assembly Line

The Rolangear water heater assembly line is built around a chain plate conveyor system, designed for smooth and stable transport. Its flat, low-friction surface allows for the secure and efficient movement of components during the assembly process.

Key Features:

  • A3 steel sheet tracks form the base of the conveyor system.

  • Angle iron auxiliary guides provide structural stability.

  • Industrial-grade chain plates are used for transmission, ensuring durability.

  • T8 LED tube lighting is installed continuously on both sides of the line for optimal visibility.

  • Air tool suspension tracks are made from aluminum alloy and fitted with one air gun pulley set per meter.

  • Visual production boards are supported by dual-bar H-shaped aluminum frames and acrylic panels for clear process display.

  • Galvanized steel air pipes and foot cups provide a robust foundation and pneumatic support.

These components work together to ensure smooth operation, durability, and assembly line efficiency.


Water Heater Aging & Testing Line

The Rolangear aging test line uses a bent plate roller chain as the transport medium and insulated epoxy resin boards for the chain plates. These plates are embedded with various power sockets that allow continuous performance testing while the water heaters are powered on.

Aging Line Structure:

  • Three main stages: Transition, air cooling, and burn-in testing.

  • Transition & air cooling sections: Use integrated motors and aluminum profile guide rails for synchronized operation with triple-speed industrial chains.

Burn-in Testing Features:

  • Fixed-speed motors power the burn-in section.

  • Carbon brush conductive rails enable powered movement during the test.

  • Green anti-slip belts ensure stable transport.

  • Chip cards and memory readers identify and record the quality of each unit at every testing station.

  • Sensors and transformers collect real-time data on current, voltage, and power.

  • Alarm lights at every station provide instant alerts for defective units, improving testing efficiency and reducing downtime.


Automated Water Heater Packaging Line

The Rolangear automatic packaging line is equipped with smart technology to enhance production efficiency and reduce labor dependence.

System Components:

  • Automatic bag feeding system

  • Packing scales (single or multi-head, depending on needs)

  • Bag shaping and trimming devices

  • Batch code and date printers

  • Conveyors for bag handling: horizontal, upright, and flat types

  • Optional dust collection system

The key differentiator between fully automatic and semi-automatic packaging lines is the bag feeding system. For export goods, premium products, or cases where packaging quality is critical, a fully automatic system is recommended. For lower-cost packaging needs, semi-automatic machines offer a more economical alternative.
