Engineering and support from first enquiry to a running line

Rolangear services

Engineering and support from first enquiry to a running line

  • One point of contact
  • Engineer-supported installation
  • Operator training
  • Spare parts & remote support

What we do

Services across the whole project

Ten services, grouped by the stage of the project they belong to. The services included in your project are set out in the technical proposal.

01Before the order

Process Planning & Equipment Selection

We start from the product you want to make and work back to the process stages and the machinery each stage requires.

What is included

  • Review of your finished product and target output
  • Definition of the process stages, from raw material to packed product
  • Specification of the machinery each stage requires
  • Configuration options where more than one route reaches the target

You receive An equipment list matched to your process

02Before the order

Factory Layout Support

Guidance on floor space and equipment placement, so the configured line fits the building you have or plan to use.

What is included

  • Equipment placement and material flow along the line
  • Floor space guidance for the configured equipment
  • Utility requirements of the specified machines

You receive Layout guidance for your site

03Before the order

Technical Proposal & Quotation

A written proposal that sets out the configuration, the scope of supply and services, and the commercial terms before any order is placed.

What is included

  • Line configuration and equipment list
  • Scope of supply and scope of services
  • Installation, commissioning and training scope
  • Commercial terms and points to confirm before order

04Supply & delivery

Equipment Sourcing & Line Integration

Where a line combines equipment from more than one source, Rolangear brings it together into one working line instead of leaving you to coordinate separate suppliers.

What is included

  • Manufacturing or sourcing of the specified equipment
  • Matching capacities and connections between machines
  • One coordinated scope of supply
  • One point of contact across the equipment in your line

You receive One integrated line, one point of contact

05Supply & delivery

Pre-Dispatch Quality Inspection

Equipment is inspected before it leaves, so problems are found at the supplier rather than at your factory.

What is included

  • Inspection of equipment before dispatch
  • Check against the agreed equipment list and specification

You receive Equipment inspected before it ships

06Supply & delivery

Shipping Arrangements

Shipping arrangements for the supplied equipment to your destination port, coordinated with the rest of the project.

What is included

  • Shipping arrangements to your destination port
  • Dispatch coordinated with your project schedule

You receive Equipment shipped to your destination port

07At your factory

Installation & Commissioning

Our service and start-up engineers support installation at your factory, then start up and trial run the line before handing it over to your team.

What is included

  • Engineer-supported installation of the equipment
  • Start-up of individual machines and the complete line
  • Trial running of the line
  • Handover to your production team

You receive A commissioned line, handed over to your team

08At your factory

  1. The product you want to make, with a photo, sample or specification if you have one
  2. Target output, per hour, shift or day
  3. Destination country
  4. Factory space and available utilities, if known
  5. The level of automation you are considering
  6. Your project timeline

What the technical proposal covers

A written document you can review with your team before any order.

  1. Production line configuration
  2. Equipment list by process stage
  3. Scope of supply and scope of services
  4. Installation, commissioning and training scope
  5. Commercial terms

Send your project detailsScope and terms are confirmed in writing before any order.

FAQ

Questions about our services

If your question is not answered here, our team will reply directly.

Ask our team

What does a turnkey project include?

A turnkey project can cover process planning, equipment selection, sourcing and line integration, pre-dispatch inspection, shipping arrangements, engineer-supported installation and commissioning, operator training and after-sales support. The exact scope is confirmed per project in the technical proposal.

Can the scope be adjusted to my project?

The scope of supply and services is defined for each project and set out in the technical proposal, so you can review exactly what is included before any order.

Do you manufacture the production lines yourselves?

No. Rolangear does not hold production lines in stock and does not manufacture them in-house. Equipment is specified for each project, manufactured or sourced, and inspected before dispatch.

What information do you need to prepare a proposal?

The product you want to make, your target output and your destination country. Factory space, available utilities, the automation level you are considering and your timeline all help make the first proposal more precise.

Is installation and commissioning included?

Engineer-supported installation, start-up and trial running are available and are set out in the scope of the technical proposal.

How are spare parts and support handled after handover?

Rolangear supplies spare parts for the equipment it supplied and provides remote assistance for troubleshooting. Onsite service visits can be arranged on request.

Can you supply a single machine instead of a complete line?

Individual machines are available by function in the machinery catalogue. Ask our team which installation, training and support services apply to the machine you are considering.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the product, the equipment and the scope of services. The project schedule is set out in the technical proposal.

Next step

Planning a manufacturing project?

Tell us what you want to produce, your target capacity and your destination country. Our engineering team will recommend a suitable production line or machine and prepare a technical proposal.
