Mechanical tire recycling breaks whole waste tires down into clean rubber granules by shredding, granulating and then separating the steel wire and textile fibre from the rubber. The output is a graded rubber granule or powder used in rubber sheet, sports surfaces, moulded products and asphalt modification.

Rolangear supplies complete mechanical tire recycling lines. The catalogue includes a 300 kg automatic car tire recycling line, a 300 kg automatic mechanical tire recycling production line, a 2,000 kg/h waste tire granules production line and a 2,000–3,000 kg/h tire recycling system — so the same process is available at markedly different output levels.

This suits waste processing businesses and rubber product manufacturers securing their own raw material supply. Tire recycling is driven by local waste tire availability and by demand for granule output, so the appropriate line size follows from both.

  1. Tire Intake

    Whole waste tires are received and fed into the line.

  2. Shredding

    Tires are reduced to coarse rubber chips.

  3. Granulation

    Chips are progressively reduced to the target granule size.

  4. Steel & Fibre Separation

    Magnetic and air separation remove steel wire and textile fibre from the rubber.

  5. Screening & Grading

    Granules are screened to size; oversize material returns for further granulation.
